PROFESSIONAL TACTICAL DRIVER (PTD) High Risk CP Operator

With the rising threat of crime and terrorism, and the continuously growing demand for personal protection, escort security, or convoy safety worldwide, the demand for specially trained security drivers for cars and other vehicles has drastically increased. However, there is a global lack of professionals with comprehensive training – THIS SPECIAL COURSE FILLS THAT GAP.

A PROFESSIONAL TACTICAL DRIVER (PTD) is the expert in tactical and defensive driving, vehicle security and mechanics, convoy safety, personal safety, and more. Within a personal protection team, a PTD is a vital member. Not only is the PTD responsible for vehicle security, but they are also specialists in tactical defense maneuvers during crises or under fire, an integral part of the advance team, and experts in developing security plans, crisis response strategies, defensive driving techniques, anti-terror measures, and ensuring personal safety for themselves, the team, and, of course, the client. The Tactical Driver also receives comprehensive personal protection training.

Most security companies and personal protection trainers give little to no attention to the field of tactical and defensive driving, treating it negligently or ignoring it altogether. This is extremely careless! After all, it is a well-known fact that personal protectors spend significantly more time with their clients in vehicles, stationary or mobile, than engaging in firearm usage or close combat. Unfortunately, conventional and subpar trainers emphasize the latter areas, despite this not reflecting reality. Additionally, attacks and assassinations often occur in scenarios involving vehicles (stationary, bomb attacks, etc.) – incidents like the Herrhausen assassination or the attack on Ronald Reagan are classic examples among many others.

It is therefore absolutely justified to state that training in tactical and defensive driving, as well as convoy safety, must be a key focus of modern personal protection training. The field is so complex that we have created a distinct professional designation, the PROFESSIONAL TACTICAL DRIVER. Skilled PTDs enjoy excellent career opportunities worldwide.

PTD is available as a complete, specialized personal protection training course with a focus on tactical and defensive driving. As an additional course for personal protectors, executive drivers, chief drivers, and others, the specialized driving module is also available WITHOUT personal protection training as a supplementary program – an ideal opportunity to advance your career. It is also highly suitable for Private Military Operators and others.

This course is one of the few in Europe that comprehensively addresses bomb threats and explosive devices in this context! This is a crucial topic for Tactical Drivers, as 60-70% of severe and fatal attacks involve various types of bombs.

Participants of the PTD course can, upon diploma completion, directly secure permanent employment through our security agency (when enrolling in the full course). Certified PTDs can also work independently or as employees of third-party companies worldwide. The PROFESSIONAL TACTICAL DRIVER course is an exceptional specialized program that opens up entirely new career opportunities in fields such as personal protection, private military, escort security, convoy safety, and more. This course is also ideal for personnel from security firms, cash transport companies, VIP drivers, limousine services, and others.
